Household Manager/ Executive Housekeeper

Venetian Islands, FL

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 3pm. No weekends

Private Family of 2 adults in the Venetian Islands in Miami, FL are looking for a fantastic, autonomous, year-round Household Manager.

The family are in residence 8 months of the year; however this is a year round position. The property is a brand new 8700 sq ft home (6 beds, 7 baths). The 2 Principals are the main residents, however their 18-year-old son will join them on college breaks & holidays.
They have a 7yo Shih tzu dog.


Duties will include:

  • All regular daily cleaning – vacuuming, mopping, dusting to keep the home neat and fresh
  • Deep cleaning (on a schedule, and with the appropriate contractors)
  • Understanding of proper care of various surfaces (hardwood, marble, granite, etc)
  • Seasonal projects if needed
  • Laundry; washing, drying, ironing. Clothes and sheets, basic care (no high end clothing/ special care etc)
  • Inventory management (including replenishment/ ordering) and organization
  • Ability to assist with special requests and run errands as needed.
  • Occasional airport drop offs and pick ups, running errands (e.g. FedEx packages, grocery shopping etc)
  • Pet care – taking the dog to the vet or groomers, walking and feeding her as needed.
  • Overseeing regular (e.g. HVAC) and one-off vendors, including payment of invoice
  • Overseeing other two Miami properties - ensuring guest condo is stocked prior to guest arrival (2-3 times per year), scheduling cleaning services and maintenance for these properties.
  • Must communicate well with the team, including yacht captain, vendors and services. 


The family has other properties abroad but travel is NOT required in this role. 

This family spends 4 months of the year away from Miami, so the workload will be lighter and days shorter during this period.

  • Detail-oriented, trustworthy, well-organized, respectful, discrete, positive, energetic and punctual
  • A self-starter and happy to work autonomously or collaboratively with other team members
  • Very professional with great experience and discretion
  • Forward thinking and organized
  • Love their work and have a long-term outlook
  • Have excellent English communication skills
  • Valid US work authorization and drivers license
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in private residence

Compensation: BOE – please submit salary requirements
4  weeks vacation (max 2 weeks at a time, to be taken when family are out of town) + 3-5 sick days
Federal holidays off/ paid if worked (Christmas and Thanksgiving are off)
Medical benefits – monthly health stipend
