Job Description: Executive Housekeeper - Manhattan, NY
A Manhattan couple is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to manage the upkeep and organization of their 3,500 sq ft apartment and a second nearby apartment (visited once weekly).
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Organizing: Maintain high-end casual household, ensuring the apartment is clean, neat, and well-organized at all times.
- Errands: Run household-related errands such as shopping for groceries and managing household supplies.
- Pet Care: Must love dogs, as occasional dog sitting is required. This includes overnight care during holiday periods when the couple travels (advance notice provided).
- Dog Sitting: During the couple’s Christmas travels, the housekeeper will be required to stay at the Manhattan apartment to look after the dogs.
Additional Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM (with flexibility for a later start if needed, 10 AM acceptable).
- Secondary Residence: The couple also owns an apartment a block away, which requires weekly cleaning.
- Hamptons Home: 2 weeks travel to the Hamptons with family, housing provided.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of housekeeping experience working for private households.
- Must be dog-friendly and willing to provide overnight pet care when necessary (advance scheduling provided).
- Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing household supplies and organizational tasks independently.
