Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. The family travels frequently; however, occasional weekends may be required. When in residence, full-time availability and on-call flexibility will be necessary.

Accommodation:

Live-in position. Private bedroom and bathroom provided.

Position Overview

A prominent family is seeking an experienced and proactive executive housekeeper to manage and maintain their Nashville residence. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can independently oversee housekeeping, household organization, vendor coordination, travel preparation, and light meal preparation.

The executive housekeeper's sole responsibility is the Nashville home. As the family owns additional residences in Nassau, France,  and London and travels often, flexibility is essential to ensure the home is well-maintained in their absence and fully prepared for their return.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Household Organization:

  • Perform daily housekeeping and deep-cleaning tasks.
  • Organize closets, pantries, and storage areas.
  • Handle household errands, including grocery shopping and dry cleaning.

Inventory & Restocking:

  • Manage and replenish household supplies, toiletries, and pantry items.
  • Track deliveries and organize incoming packages.

Household Management & Travel Coordination:

  • Oversee household maintenance and schedule vendor services.
  • Ensure security systems are functioning properly when the family is away.
  • Prepare the home before departures and reset it upon return.

Guest & Family Support:

  • Be available and on call when the family or guests are in residence.
  • Maintain all rooms to the highest standards, ensuring they are well-stocked and prepared to accommodate special requests, including bed turn-down service and personalized arrangements.

Light Cooking & Meal Assistance:

  • Assist with simple meal preparation, primarily breakfast (e.g., eggs, coffee).
  • Keep the kitchen stocked and organized.

Laundry & Wardrobe Care:

  • Manage laundry, ironing, and special fabric care.
  • Organize and rotate seasonal wardrobes.

Pet Care:

  • Provide daily care for the family dog(s), including feeding, walking, and coordinating grooming.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an executive housekeeper in a private residence.
  • Strong organizational and household management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs.
  • Comfortable coordinating with vendors and handling maintenance issues.
  • Valid passport for potential travel.
  • Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain one.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience (negotiable).
  • Benefits: Health stipend (negotiable).
