A private family is seeking an experienced Private Chef to create fresh, seasonal meals for 2 adults and 2 young children. The role includes preparing all daily meals, designing menus, sourcing high-quality ingredients (organic/local preferred), and managing the kitchen. The chef will also prepare meals for occasional entertaining, small dinner parties, and family travel, including summer trips to Montana. Michelin-star or equivalent fine-dining experience is required.
Plan, prepare, and serve all daily meals for 2 adults and 2 young children, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and juices
Provide freshly cooked meals, with some pre-prepped/heat-and-eat options as needed
Occasionally execute formal plated service for family or guest dinners; day-to-day meals are casual
Design seasonal menus, source high-quality ingredients, and accommodate children’s tastes with healthier options
Prepare meals for entertaining, small dinner parties, and family travel (including summer trips to Montana; accommodations provided)
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and budgeting
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and collaborate with household staff for seamless service
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Private Chef in UHNW households or luxury hospitality
Michelin-star restaurant training or equivalent fine-dining experience required
Expertise across diverse cuisines and contemporary healthy dining trends
Strong knowledge of nutrition and ability to adapt meals to family needs
Flexible, discreet, and highly professional
Ability to adapt to split schedules, changing household needs, and travel
Strong organizational, budgeting, and sourcing skills
