Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and travel; guaranteed 40 hours per week

Overview

A private family in Surfside, FL is seeking a highly professional and discreet Personal Chauffeur with a background in security/protection. The role centers on safe, reliable transportation for the principals and their children, while maintaining a strong focus on security and discretion. Responsibilities include daily driving, school runs, and accompanying the family on occasional business trips. The ideal candidate is polished, flexible, and skilled in both chauffeuring and protective support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily school transportation for two children (Surfside to Miami area).

• Drive principals and family members to appointments, dinners, events, and social outings as needed.

• Accompany principals on occasional business trips, ensuring safety and security while traveling.

• Apply defensive and security-minded driving techniques at all times.

• Be available for occasional evenings and weekends; maintain flexibility in scheduling.

• Manage all aspects of vehicle upkeep, including fuel, oil changes, maintenance, repairs, and regular car washes.

• Ensure a safe, smooth, and comfortable ride while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

• Remain available to principals for errands, meetings, and social transportation needs.

• Provide heightened awareness of surroundings and proactively identify potential risks.

• Time off during the summer months when the family travels (approx. 2 months).

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a personal chauffeur/driver for a private family required.

• Proven background in security, protective services, or executive protection required.

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

• Strong knowledge of Miami-area roads and traffic patterns.

• Professional, polished, and discreet demeanor.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

• Physically fit and capable of responding effectively in security-related situations.
