Full Charge Executive Housekeeper (5-Star Service)

Location: Manalapan, FL
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with flexibility for additional hours as needed. Thursdays and Fridays off; option to switch to a Monday–Friday schedule during principals’ travel.

Compensation: $60-$65/hour; based on experience (overtime pay for over 40 hours).

Overview

Our clients are seeking an experienced, full-charge Executive Housekeeper to oversee their stunning Manalapan residence. This role is ideal for a seasoned hospitality professional or someone transitioning from yachting into an elevated, land-based position. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with an impeccable 5-star service mentality who thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee general and specialty cleaning of the residence, including daily walk-throughs and immediate attention to kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms each morning

  • Manage the current Housekeeper and a three-times-weekly cleaning service with an “all hands-on deck” leadership approach

  • Act as the administrative right hand to the Director of Residences, particularly during the principals’ travel

  • Provide expert care for fine materials and surfaces including antiques, artwork, marble, brass, china, crystal, silver, and fine linens

  • Handle all household laundry, including handwashing, ironing, pressing, steaming, and maintaining a detailed dry-cleaning log

  • Maintain Trello maintenance and project lists and plan deep cleaning and organizational projects during family travel

  • Manage wine inventory across multiple properties using the wine management app

  • Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages; train staff on proper cocktail preparation

  • Assist with service and clean-up for dinner parties and events

  • Maintain fresh flowers throughout the residence

  • Run errands as needed and maintain clear communication with the Director of Residences and household team

Qualifications

  • Verifiable experience in a private home, luxury hotel, or yacht required, with a demonstrated commitment to five-star service

  • Proficient in cocktail preparation and beverage service

  • Professional, polished, discreet, and unflappable demeanor

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and knowledge of fine materials and furnishings

  • Strong team leadership and collaboration skills

  • Excellent communication skills; strong English required
