About the Family
Warm, busy family seeking a live-in nanny to join their household long-term.
  • 4-year-old
  • 2-year-old
  • Baby due in August
  • Mom is home full-time
  • Two friendly dogs (must love dogs)
  • Full-time housekeeper (5 days per week)

The family lives in Miami Beach during the school year and spends summers on Cape Cod.

The Role
The family is seeking a young, energetic, and experienced live-in nanny with a strong background in both toddler and newborn care. A baby nurse will be in place initially, so the primary focus will be actively engaging the 2- and 4-year-olds—managing school preparation, activities, outings, meal preparation, and keeping them stimulated and active. Care is usually focused on one or two children at a time, rather than all three together.
Cooking for the children is an important part of the role. The family prioritize healthy, home-cooked food and are looking for someone who is comfortable and interested in preparing meals and snacks for children.
The nanny should be organized, communicative, and comfortable working alongside a very involved parent in a well-run household. This role is best suited to someone who values a healthy, family-focused lifestyle and enjoys an active, outdoorsy pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing morning routines and school preparation
  • Engaging, hands-on care for toddlers (activities, outings, outdoor play)
  • Confident newborn care once baby nurse departs
  • Driving children to and from school and activities (vehicle provided)
  • Preparing nutritious meals for the children
  • Cooking well and planning healthy meals
  • Maintaining excellent swimming safety at the beach and in the pool
  • Supporting the smooth flow of a busy household alongside a very involved parent in a well-run household.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience with infants, toddlers, and multiple children
  • Energetic, proactive, and highly organized
  • Flexible and adaptable as family needs evolve
  • Excellent driving skills (driving is extremely important)
  • Excellent swimming skills and very comfortable in and around water
  • Team player who works well with parents and staff
  • Warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoys being active with young children
  • Must love dogs

Living Accommodations

  • Private bedroom
  • Private bathroom
  • Located on the opposite side of the home for privacy
