
Live-In or Live-Out Nanny/ Educator – Sag Harbor, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM with flexibility as needed
Compensation: $120,000+ annually, commensurate with experience
A private family in Sag Harbor, NY is seeking an experienced, professional, and proactive Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for their growing family. The family has two children, including a newborn on the way, and is looking for a candidate who is confident managing multiple age groups while serving as a positive and engaging presence in the home.
The primary focus of this position will be supporting the family's 7-year-old child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with diverse learning, developmental, and behavioral needs and possess a genuine passion for helping children build confidence, independence, and life skills. A background in education, child development, special education, behavioral support, or a related field is highly preferred.
Responsibilities include creating engaging and educational activities, assisting with schoolwork and developmental goals, supporting daily routines, facilitating social and emotional growth, accompanying the child to activities and appointments, and collaborating with parents and other professionals involved in the child's care when appropriate.
In addition to childcare responsibilities, the nanny will assist with child-related household tasks, including organization of children's spaces, inventory management of children's supplies, scheduling, and helping maintain smooth day-to-day household operations. The family values a candidate who naturally looks for ways to be helpful, anticipates needs, and enjoys being an extra set of hands throughout the home.

Qualifications:
• Extensive professional nanny experience in private homes
• Experience supporting children with ASD or other developmental differences strongly preferred
• Educational background in teaching, child development, psychology, special education, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel with the family as needed
