Overview

A warm and engaging private family in Boca Raton is seeking a highly capable, proactive, and polished Household Manager / Personal Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operations of their residence. This is a unique opportunity to work in a personable, dynamic environment supporting a multigenerational household, including a vibrant and intellectually curious 91-year-old principal.

The home is supported by a team of full-time aides who manage primary caregiving responsibilities. This role is designed to complement that support by overseeing household organization, managing logistics, and ensuring a seamless and well-run environment.


Key Responsibilities

Household Management & Organization

  • Establish and maintain organizational systems throughout the home
  • Assist with decluttering, donations, and general household optimization
  • Oversee and coordinate vendors, service providers, and household staff
  • Manage deliveries, unpacking, and general household logistics
  • Maintain inventory of household and cleaning supplies

Administrative & Personal Support

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling (Google Calendar / iCal)
  • Coordinate select travel arrangements
  • Pay bills and assist with light financial administration
  • Screen calls and take messages as needed
  • Assist with personal tasks and requests for the principal

Principal Support

  • Provide thoughtful, attentive support to the principal outside the scope of caregivers
  • Assist with medication organization (e.g., pill box management)
  • Engage in light, friendly conversation and companionship during downtime

Pet Care Coordination (3 Cats)

  • Oversee daily feeding routines and general care
  • Coordinate veterinary appointments and supply orders
  • Manage litter maintenance and ensure overall cleanliness
  • Monitor outdoor time and general well-being

Household Upkeep & Errands

  • Oversee kitchen organization, including inventory and restocking
  • Coordinate appliance maintenance and service needs
  • Manage garbage, recycling, and general household upkeep
  • Handle errands including prescriptions, dry cleaning, post office, and shopping
