Apply to Executive Housekeeper Position - New York City (West End) with some travel

West Village (NYC) family is seeking a professional and proactive Executive Housekeeper to work in their NYC and Montauk homes beginning September 2024.

2 adults and 2 children (ages 3 and 11)
NYC - 5,000 sq ft

Must have formal home experience, be detailed and organized. Will do hands-on cleaning, laundry, ironing, managing vendors, running errands, serving, cooking breakfast and lunch.

Basic cooking when needed, mainly for kids. Occasionally they have a chef. Pack suitcases for travel. Family has two dogs so some light pet care may be needed. Must be child friendly, some childcare may occasionally be needed. 

Must be flexible to do short-term occasional travel if needed. Must be trustworthy, hardworking, respectful, flexible, want a long-term position, be a team player, love what you do and have a valid driver’s license (no car required).

Proactive and communication skills VERY IMPORTANT. When the family is in NYC the schedule is Mon-Fri, 12pm-8pm. Required to clean up after dinner service, tidy the kitchen etc and shut the house down.
