About the Position
A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, engaging, and compassionate Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for their bright and lovable seven-year-old son with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, active, and genuinely passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, communication, and social-emotional skills. The family values a relationship-based, child-centered approach and would love to find someone with experience working with children with ASD.

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care.
- Create a warm, engaging, and structured environment that supports the child's individual needs and interests.
- Plan fun, age-appropriate activities, outings, and experiences that encourage independence, confidence, communication, and social development.
- Support the child's daily routines and help maintain consistency and structure throughout the day.
- Assist with homework, reading, educational activities, and age-appropriate enrichment as needed.
- Encourage outdoor play, exploration, community outings, and social experiences.
- Support emotional regulation and help the child navigate transitions and daily routines with patience and understanding.
- Collaborate closely with parents and other professionals involved in the child's care to provide consistency and support.
- Maintain open and thoughtful communication with the family regarding the child's day, progress, and needs.
- Handle child-related responsibilities and organization.
- Travel with the family on occasion as needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced career Nanny with a strong background caring for school-aged children.
- Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder strongly preferred.
- Warm, patient, engaging, and naturally nurturing.
- Active and enthusiastic with the ability to create fun and meaningful experiences.
- Comfortable providing structure while remaining flexible and responsive to the child's needs.
- Strong communicator who works well alongside parents and other professionals.
- Discreet, dependable, proactive, and comfortable working within a private household.
