Full-Time Nanny (Open to Live-In or Live-Out)
Salary/Benefits: $130,000-$150,000 based on experience; PTO/sick days provided.
Location: Coconut Grove, Florida
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday (Sunday and Monday off), approximately 50-60 hours/week. Typical hours: Tue–Thu 8:00 am–6:00 pm; Fri - Sat 12:00p - 12:00a. Some flexibility for occasional evenings, overnights, or schedule changes. Overnights and 24/7 care will be required when both parents are traveling (approximately 1 day a month)
Travel: Typically once per month for long weekends, extended travel during spring break, winter holidays and summer. The family spends approximately two months each summer in Nantucket. Comfortable, private accommodations provided; hours and days adjusted by mutual agreement while traveling.
A warm, welcoming private family in Coconut Grove is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly flexible Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care for their two young children, ages 4.5 years and 11 months. The family is looking for a positive, energetic individual who genuinely enjoys working with children and can seamlessly integrate into a fully staffed home - working weekdays alongside the family’s Housekeeper as a close-knit team. This position may be structured as either live-in or live-out for the right candidate. Flexibility is essential. The ideal candidate will be available for occasional overnight care, travel, and schedule adjustments as needed.
Responsibilities

Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for two children (4.5 years and 11 months), supporting all developmental milestones and educational play

Manage daily routines including feeding, dressing, diapering, potty training, and general childcare needs

Walk the daughter to and from school (a 2-minute walk from home) and manage school-day transitions

Safely transport and accompany the children to afterschool activities, classes, playdates, and outings (music, swim, playground, and the like); family vehicle may be provided

Provide standing weekend-evening (date-night) coverage on Friday and Saturday as a regular part of the role

Light meal assistance as needed

Maintain organization of children’s areas, including bedrooms, play spaces, and related child-focused household tidying

Assist with children’s laundry and ensure overall orderliness of child-related items

Travel with the family as needed

When children are at school or napping and childcare is fully covered, Nanny may assist with light, family related errands during downtime such as prescription/pharmacy pick up, dry cleaning or shoe-repair drop off and pick up, gift buying for children’s birthday party, etc.

Walk family dog and ensure basic pet care (feeding and water bowls)

Collaborate closely with other household staff to ensure seamless household operations

Perform all standard nanny responsibilities in a fully supported, staffed home environment
Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a private family nanny with verifiable references

Proven experience caring for both infants and young children

Comfortable working in a fully staffed household environment

Highly adaptable, proactive, and flexible with scheduling and responsibilities

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving the children (car-seat experience preferred)

Valid passport and ability to travel internationally and domestically

Comfort with and care around food allergies

CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Professional, warm, and genuinely positive demeanor with a cheerful, collaborative attitude

Strong emphasis on discretion, confidentiality, and respect for family privacy at all times

Fluent Spanish speaker (preferred; not required)
