Schedule: 5–6 days/week, Monday–Saturday preferred
Hours: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Start Date: September 12, 2026
Travel: Required travel to CO, NY & Europe, including ~4 domestic trips/year (1–2 weeks each) and ~6 weeks in Europe each summer. Approximately 6 weeks of vacation annually, including 3 weeks in late July/early August and 3 additional weeks coordinated around family travel.

A private family in Miami is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly discreet Full-Time Private Chef to prepare healthy, elevated, family-style meals for a couple and their growing family. The family has four adult daughters, two of whom live nearby with their families, and they enjoy frequent family dinners with their children and grandchildren. The ideal candidate will have strong private household experience, excellent culinary skills, a passion for fresh and healthy cooking, and the flexibility to travel with the family.
Responsibilities

Prepare daily lunch and dinner for the principals, family, household staff, and occasional guests.

Prepare a light lunch, typically salad and protein, for the husband. The wife generally does not eat lunch but often joins him.

Prepare dinner for approximately 2–6 people, with larger family dinners 2–3 times per week when daughters and grandchildren visit.

Family dinner is typically served around 6:30–7:00 PM; dinners with guests may extend until approximately 10:00 PM.

Create balanced meals featuring salad or grilled vegetables, 1–2 proteins, and a starch such as rice or pasta.

Prepare homemade breads, crackers, and desserts.

Incorporate a variety of cuisines, particularly Lebanese, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Maintain a focus on healthy, clean, fresh, and organic ingredients.

Utilize the fully equipped kitchen and BBQ grill.

Support occasional entertaining, holidays, and intimate gatherings.

Coordinate with the family’s assistant, who can assist with grocery shopping.

Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and professional kitchen.
Dietary Requirements

Two household members, including one principal, have a garlic allergy to both raw and cooked garlic.

Garlic may be used for other family members only with strict communication and cross-contamination precautions.

One daughter is pregnant and cannot have raw fish or meat.

Family does not eat oysters, duck, or rabbit.
Entertaining
The family occasionally hosts guests and is involved with nonprofit organizations and fundraisers in Miami, Colorado, and New York. For events exceeding 12 guests, the family typically hires a catering team. The Chef should be comfortable supporting smaller gatherings and holiday meals, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.
