Nanny / Family Assistant - Palm Beach, FL

Location: Palm Beach, FL
Compensation: $40-$45/hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, generally 3:00 PM–9:00 PM, with Friday and Saturday including afternoon/evening care and overnight stays.
Days Off: Sunday and Monday
Hours: Approximately 45 hours per week. Overnight compensation is structured around a 50-hour billing arrangement.

Position Overview

A private family in Palm Beach is seeking a polished, engaging, and experienced nanny to care for their two children, a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. The ideal candidate is warm, playful, and energetic with children while maintaining a professional, organized, and well-presented demeanor. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive nanny who enjoys building meaningful relationships with children. The family is moving quickly and hopes to connect with qualified candidates right away.

Responsibilities

  • Providing attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for both children.

  • Managing after-school routines, homework, dinner, and evening activities.

  • Supervising pool time and ensuring the children’s safety.

  • Driving the children to activities, appointments, playdates, and other commitments.

  • Supporting the children’s schedules and coordinating activities.

  • Maintaining a fun, structured, and supportive environment.

  • Communicating effectively with the parents and staying ahead of the family’s needs.

  • Assisting with scheduling, coordination, and other family-related tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience working with HNW/UHNW families

  • Confident, polished, and professional presentation with the ability to be playful and engaging with children.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing schedules and coordinating activities.

  • Safe, confident driver with a clean driving record.

  • Familiarity with Palm Beach and the surrounding area, including local activities, children’s programs, and playdate opportunities, is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent, verifiable professional references from reputable families.
