ROTA Governess/ Nanny in Boca

 Children: 2 children, ages 6 and 4.

 Schedule: 1 week on/ 1 week off

Daily hours will vary, but are approximately 8 – 10 hrs per weekday, and approximately 4 hrs on saturday, with some later evenings (e.g. if parents have a dinner/ event). Flexibility is required during the working weeks.

Summer schedule (Cape Cod): 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off. Live-in

Summer to Cape Cod. Approx early/ mid-June through mid-August (Summer Holidays). Accommodation is a private room and ensuite. (10 weeks)

The role:

Wonderful, warm and casual family in Boca Raton are looking for a fantastic ROTA Governess/Nanny to join their team and work alongside Mom and their other ROTA Governess, whom they adore! They are looking for a long term, dedicated Governess to join and grow with their family. This is a casual household, with present parents – the ideal candidate must work well with a hands-on Mom. This is not a full charge position. 

Regular duties and responsibilities:

• All standard Governess/ Nanny duties

• Meal prep – this would be lunch, with a focus on healthy meals

• Interactive playing

• Driving children

• Tidying/ organization of children’s rooms and play areas

The right candidate for this role will:

• Be happy, optimistic and positive

• Be passionate about your long-term role as Governess

• Works well in a team with present parents and a hands-on Mom; not be afraid of occasional downtime (e.g. be okay with the opportunity to read a book and relax for an hour if the opportunity is presented)

• Be extremely organized and tidy

• Be consistently engaging and interacting with the children

• Dog Friendly, as family has 2 older small dogs

• Preferably would have a Bachelor's Degree in Child Psychology or Development or Education OR a strong background in similar roles, with children of similar ages.

• Longevity in previous roles, and verifiable references

Compensation:

• Salary based on experience – please submit salary requirements.

• Monthly health insurance stipend 

• Holidays: Christmas Day and New Years Day off.

Other holidays throughout the year are determined by your working weeks. The two Governess’ will work together using the Nanny calendar to switch weeks etc. for vacation and specific holidays off.
