ROTA Nanny - must be local to South Florida

ROTA Nanny – Coral Gables
Location: Coral Gables, FL
Schedule: 7 days on/ 7 days off. Flexibility when traveling (up to 4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off)

This position is open to local, South Florida candidates.

A wonderful family in Coral Gables is looking for a professional ROTA Nanny to join their team.  Both parents are very hands on as their schedules allow, so we are looking for a team-player who is happy to step in and step out, as well as work collaboratively with the parents and other ROTA Nanny. 


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of childcare, with a focus on age appropriate developmental milestones, fostering exploration and growth. 
  • Organization in relations to the child. This will include: 
    • Packing and organizing the diaper bag.
    • Meal planning, grocery ordering and meal prep (including assisting the new baby's transition to solids using BLW when the time comes)
    • Packing and unpacking for outings and travel.
    • Inventory management and organization – children's closets, toys and necessities. 
    • Child laundry, keeping nursey and play areas tidy and organized, toy rotation, cleaning and sanitizing children's toys and play areas etc.
  • Assist with travel preparations for baby and parents (domestic and international)
  • Maintain a nurturing, educational environment for the baby with a focus on early childhood development, including suggesting original ideas and activities (in and out of the home), as well as collaborating with parents, and keeping a screen free environment.
  • Driving the children and running child related errands
Requirements:
  • Experience with infant care and toddler development.
  • Must be comfortable and have experience working collaboratively with hands on parents; knowing when to step in and step out, and deviate to other child-related tasks when parents are with child
  • Teaching experience or a background in early childhood education is highly preferred.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel with the family during your working rotation (domestic and international)
  • Must be active and “hands on” with child activities, and an excellent swimmer (family has a pool at the home)
  • Spanish speaking a bonus
  • Must be a US Citizen with current passport
  • Excellent driving history, current CPR/ First Aid


Compensation:
BOE - please submit requirements. Health stipend available.

Holidays are worked and will rotate yearly between the Nannies
