Job Title: Executive Housekeeper/Houseman
Location: Palm Beach, FL (with potential for travel) willingness to travel with the family is a plus.
Overview: A high-level family is seeking a tech-savvy, intuitive, and proactive Executive Housekeeper to support daily household operations, primarily focusing on kitchen-related tasks but with the versatility to assist with a variety of household needs. This role requires a caring, observant individual who can anticipate needs, follow directions precisely, and grow into a trusted member of the household team.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Management:
Prepare and maintain "lunch salads" (e.g., tuna salad, egg salad, potato salad) and other simple dishes as needed.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and follow kitchen rules set by the family.
Label food and pantry items with dates, ensuring proper organization and freshness.
Household Support:
Manage light household projects
Technology Assistance:
Help family members with basic technology tasks, including printing, scanning, and document organization.
Provide tech support to troubleshoot minor issues with devices or systems.
General Duties:
Collaborate with the House Manager and Housekeeper to ensure seamless household operations
Assist with household organization, packing/unpacking, and maintaining tidy living spaces.
Monitor the household for any maintenance needs and communicate with relevant staff.
Occasional pet care support for two dogs (as needed, beyond their daily walking service).
Preferred Qualifications:
Highly organized, proactive, and able to take initiative without constant oversight.
Tech-savvy and capable of handling minor technical tasks and troubleshooting.
Intuitive and observant, with strong attention to detail.
Previous experience in private households or as a personal assistant is a plus.
Culinary interest or experience is highly desirable.
Flexible and open to occasional travel with the family.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with other staff.
