Property Manager

Palm Beach, FL
Couple seeking an experienced hands on handyman/ caretaker to over see the inside and outside maintenance of the 9,000 sq ft house. The schedule will change during the off season when principal's are up north.

Off season schedule: approx. 10:00am-3pm 5 days a week
During Season: approx. 9-5 w/ flexibility (some days more hours if needed including evenings for rides or weekends)

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to;
  • Cleaning windows
  • Pressure washing, leave blowing
  • Pool temp. check motor/ equipment to make sure in working order
  • Small repairs
  • Flush toilets when not in use (off season)
  • Touch up paint and fixes
  • Car care-Schedule maintenance, car wash, and gas up
  • Oversee vendors- Making sure they show up, and do the job
  • Open and close house- Make sure the house is ready and in perfect condition before principle arrives.

Forward thinker, organized, must be willing to find a solution before reaching out to other resources.

On staff currently: -         One full-time chef
                                            Two full-time Housekeeper
                                            Deep cleaners (only in off season)

There are not pets or children in the home, but adult children and grandchild do visit from time to time.

This Client values privacy and discretion, so a candidate with a strong understanding of the important of these will be the best fit (for example, when the family is a room, this candidate would excuse themselves and find another project to work on).
To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator, whether communicating with the House Manager, other staff, or outside vendors. Some tech knowledge will be help as this is a smart home. 

The Client has 3 apartments across the Palm Beach area that should also be checked on from time to time.

Compensation: $85 - $90,000 per year, BOE.
